We are called back into the depths – the inner ocean, the silence, the valley, inside the earth, into the volcano, into the tree roots, into the depth of the night, within the waters, within the quiet. It is all within us – the mysteries of depth. Depth is something we can depend on, it is foundational and aligned with a force and reality beyond the surface of things. On some level, we hunger for it, we search for it – it is the meaning of things. We can become too busy to drop into these depths though – life can become hectic and full of distractions, for if we truly want to move deeper into discovering meaning we have to make the time to explore and find it. It will unlikely reveal itself on its own. The key thing here is making the time right now for personal depth exploration – what can we uncover and discover within these mysteries?
